Managing Director

Peter Leonard is the founder and principal of MM Capital. With two decades of experience across construction and commercial property, he brings a distinctive perspective from the client, developer and contractor sides of the industry.

As leader of the group, Pete drives overall strategy and works with our capital partners to source investment and development opportunities across all real estate sectors. Pete holds Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Construction Project Management and Construction Management & Engineering, and has held senior roles with Tier 1 contractors, leading consultancies and major property developers.

Eddie Cassidy

Head of Construction

Construction professional with over 20 years’ experience in senior leadership roles with some of Ireland’s leading property developers and construction managers.

Previously at Flynn, John Sisk & Son Ltd. and Davy Hickey Properties.

Qualified Chartered Engineer.

Bachelor’s degree, Civil and Structural Engineering, Technological University Dublin.

Francis McCabe

Group Operations

Fran is responsible for the day to day operations across the group.

Since joining the group in 2020, Fran has also been Head of Solas Living, building and scaling the residential platform and team from inception.

Fran established LRC Group’s presence in Ireland where he scaled a 2,000 unit nationwide residential platform between 2017 and 2020. Prior to that he worked in commercial real estate lending and securitization at Hatfield Philips and Anglo-Irish Bank between 2004 and 2020 with roles in London and Geneva.

Rory McGuigan

Investment Manager

Rory is responsible for managing the underwriting and deal execution process at MM Capital.

12 years experience in acquisitions, disposals, asset management, valuations, capital markets and restructuring.

Rory’s previous roles were at Cushman & Wakefield Ireland and Canada, Tifco Hotel Group and Link Asset Services.

BSc Mathematics from Northumbria University.

Robbie Grimes

Asset Manager

Robbie is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Solas Living property portfolio. He ensures the assets are well managed, tenants are supported and issues are dealt with efficiently. Robbie drives bottom line performance by keeping voids to a minimum and optimising rental income.

Previously, Robbie worked at Link Asset Services where he managed a portfolio of distressed assets including engaging contractors to undertake capex, resolving legal and title issues to optimise shareholder value.

Conor Kelly

Associate Commercial Manager

13 years’ experience working as a quantity surveyor in key sectors such as data centre, retail development and fit-out, residential, commercial and hotels. Duties include reparation of cost plans, exploring value engineering opportunities, drafting contracts and post contract responsibilities.

Previously at Bruceshaw and Alinea Consulting.

Qualified Quantity Surveyor.

Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
